Booth Babes, Some That Could Skin A Buck

Posted In: Booth Babes by Andy at 12:58 am

I was browsing Field & Stream online and ran across their tradeshow analysis of the SHOT show in Orlando, Fl this year. SHOT is the Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade show, if you’re *really* interested and I think you’re not, you can read about the show in this press release or at the About page from shotshow.org.

Anyway, the F & S page had a SHOT show gallery of Booth Babes! To see more booth babes on Geeknews, it has it’s own category, we’re big fans of the Booth Babe profession.

Below is a sampling of the babes including a couple of odd ones like the two-headed deer and the Annie Oakley sisters. To see the full gallery of 14 pics, follow my lead to Field & Stream.

Enjoy.

‘Aving Girl’ Booth Babes

Posted In: Booth Babes by Andy at 10:53 am

A couple are copied below, but when it comes to Booth Babe collections, the ‘Aving Girls’ are a must see.

Want more? Booth Babes seem to be pretty popular topic on Geeknews, not too difficult to figure out why, so let’s try an experiment by including a separate BB category and see if we can keep the interest going…

CES 2007 and Girls Gone Wild

This is a video from i4u.com at CES 2007 talking to some booth babes (Molly & Jana) working for “Girls Gone Wild” (<–GGW site NSFW) that are in a cross promotional deal for a new handheld video camera.

The fellow from I4U asks the girls a few non-technical questions about the gadgets in the purses and about the video camera they’re promoting, it all makes for terrific viewing to tell the truth when you see clueless newbs trying to act like they understand the tech. :)

A few interesting things we learn from Molly and Jana:

  • They’re also there for Girls Gone Wild “Sexin’ up in Vegas vol 2″
  • The video player has a “UBS adapter” to plug into your computer
  • Sony makes the iPod and the Nintendo Gameboy has a touchscreen
  • One of them hates on the T-Mobile Sidekick

It’s actually lighthearted fun, enjoy.

Vonage_booth_babes

We started the week with Booth Babe Petra Nemcova showing off that slick model from HP and we end the week with more Booth Babes.

At electronic and gaming shows around the world you will find manufacturers of software and hardware or service providers trying to draw you to their booth.

One classic way of attracting folks is with the use of ‘Booth Babes’. They’re usually attractive young women who have been brought in from a modeling agency to do booth duty for a high tech company. And they’ve had a crash course in that company’s technology so they can at least talk intelligently about the basic features when shy geeks step up to the girl.

Well, I’m not a booth babe and I have had to man the booth my fair share and sometimes it’s just crazy, sometimes it’s pretty boring but it’s always draining even though all you’ve done is stand there all day and yap about your product.

Well, I stumbled across a blog article from ThinkComputers last year that is an interview with one of the Vonage Booth Babes from CES 2006. Here’s the interview ‘What it’s like to be a booth babe’, and below we have some random booth babes strewn across the ‘net. After this maybe you too will want to man the booth and dress in disco attire!

(More BBs below…)
