Julie Wainwright is a talented, smart, honest woman baring her soul as the co-founder of SmartNow.com, a new site for women in their 30′s and beyond. The “baring her soul” part comes from a recent blog post of hers. Oh BTW, the reason I find this interesting is because she was formerly the CEO of Pets.com, arguably the most spectacular DotCom failure…ever.
In her post “Five Life-Changing Mistakes and How I Moved On“, she reflects on the Pets.com failure and how it affected her marriage, her business network and much more while identifying five critical mistakes in her life and how she was able to overcome the adversity for each.
It’s a good read if you have an ounce of empathy in you.
I suspect that Karma is now making up for the adversity and that she’ll turn out alright.
