Believe it or not, AT&T is getting into the browser business, and they’re innovating. You really do have to view a lot of the demo to appreciate this browser, and I like the use of ‘cells’ as opposed to tabs.
Communications giant AT&T has announced that it has developed the beta version of its own browser, which it has named Pogo. The browser, not yet released to the public, is based on Mozilla and with 3D technology from Vizible.
Pogo only works with Windows XP SP2 and with Windows Vista. It needs a 1.6GHz processor and 2Gb of RAM as well as a video card with at least 256Mb of VRAM. It is understood that the browser’s performance is very poor and doesn’t like anything that doesn’t come with a Microsoft sanction. Pogo uses “cells” with thumbnail sized icons of the pages you have open, instead of tabs.
The browser is in private beta right now, if anyone has an invite to share maybe you could toss one my way? Pretty please?

IGN has extensive Diablo III coverage this weekend from Blizzard’s Worldwide Invitational event in Paris, France.
Here’s the nitty gritty, or just jump to the bottom of this article and play the gorgeous video of the Barbarian!
The new game’s synopsis:
Diablo III picks up the story twenty years after the events of Diablo II. Mephisto, Diablo, and Baal have been defeated, but the Worldstone, which once shielded the inhabitants of the world of Sanctuary from the forces of both Heaven and Hell, has been destroyed, and evil once again stirs in Tristram. Playing as a hero from one of five distinct character classes, players will acquire powerful items, spells, and abilities as they explore new and familiar areas of Sanctuary and battle hordes of demons to safeguard the world from the horrors that have arisen.
You can check out IGN’s live blog of the announcement or their Diablo III FAQ.
Then head over to this article on Blizzard’s class and skill creation or the IGN interview with Blizzard’s executive vice-president of game design Rob Pardo for details on how the gameplay has evolved since Diablo II.
There’s also a summary of Blizzard’s Diablo III Art and Narrative Design panel, where members of the development team talk about the game’s visual style. A highlight:
“Stylization, sometimes people can equate that with being a little bit cartoony or a Disney art style but that’s really not what we’re going after with the Diablo art style here. We understand, looking back at Diablo and Diablo II, the universe is very dark…There’s a certain level of grit and realism we want to bring to the game but at the same time it’s important to take the player into a fantasy realm…If we simply took photographs and applied that to a bunch of polygons, that’s really not us doing our job.”

Tuesday, GOOG will unveil further advances they’ve made to target ads down to a science, to charge even more per advert.
I for one welcome our new Google overlords.
LA Times is reporting that rumors are flying around, not just on the internet, but on the set of Battlestar Galactica that a deal is in the works that will continue the series as a set of 3 TV movies after it was supposed to go dark for good in a few months.
This would be great for the franchise because there are so many fans out there like myself who just aren’t ready to let the show depart for good, even though the story arc is ending as planned all along this season. Stargate SG-1 followed their departure from 10 seasons on the boob tube with a direct to video movie, that’s a great idea and I hope BSG follows suit, otherwise we’ll sorely miss ‘6′ scenes like the one above.
The window to get the deal done is narrow because if they don’t book the time in the actor’s schedules soon, they may lose some of them to other engagements.
