Saturn’s Super Storm Surprises Scientists

See that splotch in the middle left of the Saturn photo? This my friend is a massive electrical storm which resembles our terrestrial thunderstorms but on a much grander scale: thousands of miles wide and has been lasting over 5 months straight.
NASA has the Cassini scoop. The Cassini-Huygens mission is a cooperative project of NASA, the European Space Agency and the Italian Space Agency.
